You can tell that all is right in the world, as for the fifth year in a row Roger Federer wins Wimbledon beating the one I don't like. But fear not, for there was also British success (no, really).
Jamie Murray beats his upstart of a brother to a Wimbledon Title by winning the mixed doubles. The first Briton in twenty years to win a senior title at Wimbledon..... 'Go Jamie!!!'
But that is not the only place where the Brits are doing well, for I am watchnig the film 'Wimbledon' which stars Paul Bettany as the plucky wildcard entry Brit, who expecting this to be his last game (out in the first round afterall) on the grass courts of SW19, but goes on to amaze himself and all around him..... I'm not suggesting that this could be a forerunner of The Championships next year with Tim Henman...... but it could!!
And because you're not allowed to have a film without some sort of love interest there is also the delectable Kirsten Dunst, playing an American player who doesn't quite do as well as she hopes. But never mind, for she 'does go on to win the US Open, and Wimbledon.... twice....'
