And so it starts......

... not that you might notice. Well, I suppose you might. I am talking about the Rugby World Cup. You see the problem is ITV have the rights to show the games.

The reason that this is a problem is that ITV is shite for showing sports. For instance, on Sunday there are four games;
South Africa v. Samoa
Wales v. Canada
Scotland v. Portugal
Ireland v. Nambia

Now considering that ITV are a BRITISH tv company and there are three BRITISH teams playing which game do you think that they are showing on their terrestial channel (ie - the one that everyone can watch). Yes, South Africa v. Samoa. All the other games, the ones involving teams in which people might actually be interested in are being shown on ITV4.

If you do not know, ITV4 has viewing figures of nine. That's not nine percent, I mean only nine people ever watch ITV4. Even the family members of people appearing on that channel do not watch it.

To make matters even worse the ever reliable BBC have decided to put the important game (Wales v. Canada) on Radio5 Extra which is DAB (digital radio) only. What many people don't realise is that though the UK has the largest digital radio listenership in the world, we have the lowest quility digital radio. IN THE WORLD.

For instance, I live approximatly forty miles from the centre of our capital city. We are still unable to recieve digital tv signals.

Of course, if I was in Wales I would be able to catch The Game on telly on ITV1, S4C or listen to on the radio, Radio Wales, Radio Cymru......
