Well, not often you can post consecutive posts here, several hours apart.....
On Sunday I'm off to see The Terracotta Warriors at the British Museum. As we have late in the day tickets I've had to come up with something to kill the rest of the day.
As a novelty I'm going to get off the train at Wimbledon and catch the (not very) under-ground to South Kensington and go to the WORLD's best museum, the Natural History Museum. Alas the Christmas Fair doesn't open till the 20th, but they still have a great shop and there are some gifts that I can get there.
Not to mention the Science Museum right next door. I was there a few weeks ago and they had model planes that came back to you, wind-up walking robots and more neat stuff than you can imagine.
Then further around the District Line to the National and National Portrait Galleries, which I'v not been to in years and yers and years..... shame that bugger Ken won't let you feed the pigeons any more. That was always fun.
