Walk this way

(Nothing to do with the Run DMC featuring Aerosmith song)

Diary of an accident victim Part 46

Friday 3rd April 2009

The final medical for the compensation claim. Once the report goes back to the solicitors things could happen quickly, or at least as quickly as the legal profession does things So what did the doctor say? Well for a start he used the word disfigurement to describe the scar above the left eye, (see the bog picture above, would you say it was that bad?)As for the ankle injury, he noticed that I don't walk properly, on the right leg I rise from the ball of the foot rather than the toes. And the arthritis in the ankle was already there before the accident and there is no way of telling when it would have progressed, but the doctor thinks that the operations I have had has got me back to where I would have expected to be anyway. So that's the latest update. Steven - disfigured and crippled. But not a lot.

to be continued...
