This blog is out of sequence... I'll get back to bringing it up to date sometime.
I am a man, not a number.
Such was the cry of actor Patrick McGoohan, who played Number 6 in the classic TV programme The Prisoner.
And so it seems in modern life, the complex lives of individuals being reduced to statistics.
According to yesterday's local paper, the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary has come out on top, according to the statistics of the rate of survival of serious trauma in the Accident and Emergency Unit.
All in all that's one statistic I'm happy to be in
