Before my old wiblog went to the great blogheaven in the sky I made a couple of new cards for my cousins' birthdays.
One was for my cousin Alice who was 18 at the beginning of November. Hard to believe that when she was born she was 3 1/2 months early and weighed about 1lb 11oz. I was 15 at the time and she was always like my little baby as my Mum looked after her a lot. She asked me whether I was going to go to her 18th birthday party... sadly I reminded her that technically I am old enough to be her mother, which means I was also old enough to be her friends' mother. However, her older brother, who is a few months older than me went. I gather he showed them how to party and has suffered with a large hangover for quite some time.

Also, my cousin Dan was 40. He has always been one of my favourite cousins (shush... don't tell anyone) and we looked quite alike when we were younger as we both had long, blondish straight hair. This was when he was wearing exceptionally dodgy clothing as he was in a rock band. His birthday party was a 'Facial Hair Party'. Moustaches (real or fake) were compulsory. So here is a pic of Dan's card, plus an exceptional photo of my Dad who looks rather like Professor Robert Winston with this dodgy 'tache!
