2013 Project365 (Day 75)

Yesterday and today I went out house hunting for a friend of mine who is moving to the island to work. We ended up at Icart Point after missing the turning for the house we were going to view, but instead we were presented with this incredible view. It was blowing a gale and yet it was still a fantastic seascape. Fortunately the house that we viewed was nearby and shares this incredible view... I shall enjoy drinking coffee whilst looking out of the window at her new house.
It was a rather amusing moment when the estate agent asked us how we knew each other... the conversation was along the line of, well Jen came to Guernsey on holiday and then did a guest post on the imake blog, then I messaged her via her blog, we emailed for a while and then I put her in touch with people who might be able to offer her a job.
Result.. one job offer and she's moving to the island.
Whoever said the internet wasn't useful was wrong, and it also proves that it is possible to meet nice people and not just weirdos!
