Here is The Little Mister demonstrating 'tummy time' perfectly. These days most babies sleep on the back as it is well documented that this reduces the risk of cot death, however one of the consequences of this is more babies have mis-hapen heads and they can develop 'flat spots'. So, tummy time is designed to help combat this. The Little Mister has developed a small flat spot, partly because he isn't keen on being on his tummy, so we are making a concerted effort to tackle this.
