I know I am crap. A couple of inches of snow and I refuse to drive anywhere. I know that the main roads are gritted and clear, but the roads from my house to those roads aren't. I took a little walk up to the shops and witnessed several cars sliding backwards down the road so when I got home I phoned my boss and told him I was going to work at home.
So far my working day has consisted of
1) cup of coffee
2) Ship of Fools
3) cup of coffee
4) walk to the local shops
5) phoned my sister
6) cup of coffee
7) phoned my boss
8) phoned birdie
9) Ship of Fools
10) cleaned my house
11) cup of tea
12) Ship of Fools
Next on my list of things to do are
1) have a bath
2) have lunch
3) start work
In my defence I can't bear sitting down to work when my house is grubby, and as these days I barely see it in daylight often I don't notice. So I will get around to doing my work and then I will have no excuses!!
Ps) It is still snowing!!
