Well SBW and I arrived safe and sound in Guernsey on Saturday. The journey was quite frustrating though as it took us over an hour to get through the security at Gatwick - i hope they sort it out soon as it is really getting on my nerves.

Yesterday was quite busy with church and stuff and we also got to meet my sister's new bloke. I think SBW came off OK really we everyone wanted to grill my sister's recent acquisition. Today we have been for a little wander up to visit my friend and her lovely baby and then we had a walk across the beach to the shops to get something for tea. I forget how chilled out my time can be when I am back on the island. It does make a huge difference having someone to go out and play with though. We have a few plans for the rest of the week... including visits to The Little Chapel and The Occupation Museum and possibly a trip or two to the cinema.

The Boy Wonder is coping very well with meeting all my relatives. Admittedly it isn't an easy task as there are close to 60 people in my family (aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins etc.) so trying to get to meet everyone is rather a task. We have a family party on Thursday though for my twin aunts' 65th birthday party. Apparently it is a surprise although I put my foot in it - but I gather they both know about it already!

So, I shall keep you updated on progress but things are going well so far :)
