2012 Project365 (Day 346)

I have to admit that I had really hoped that the baby would arrive today - 12.12.12 would have been a fantastic birth date to have! I woke up feeling like I had new hips this morning! For a while I have had quite a bit of pain in my pelvis and hips (Pelvic Girdle Pain or PGP) and as a result getting up in the night has been really painful and I have constantly felt grinding in my pelvis. Today though I felt like a new woman! I wonder whether the baby has shifted down a bit and the pressure has been taken off the ligaments which has made a difference. So, this afternoon Mum and I went for a lovely walk, or a 9-month-pregnant-waddle in my case! We walked right down to Grandes Rocques which isn't terribly far from the house but it is a decent enough walk. We then walked back across Cobo Beach, meeting up with Auntie Josie and her grand-daughter Amy on the way. It's been a good day.
