Today Guernsey has been covered in a thick blanket of grey fog. No planes have made it in or out and the air has been damp and still, it is also surprisingly warm for this time of the year.
The fog and the stillness make it a rubbish day for drying clothes so the conservatory looks like a Chinese laundry! Unfortunately the problems I have had during pregnancy with my hips and back mean that ironing is actually quite painful so Mum will probably end up ironing the whole lot. She is a bit of a legend is my Mum!
