My lovely husband spent most of his day stripping in the garage. Apparently is wasn't as fun as it sounded as he was actually stripping this old fireplace. It has 1936 written on the back of it which makes it older than the house I think. I reckon it has at least five layers of thick paint on and it is taking him ages to get off. He is doing a fabulous job though and it is going to look gorgeous!!!
(I know this is cheating because I have nicked a photo he took, but I just didn't get a chance to snap anything more interesting!)
