2012 Project365 (Day 246)

Today has been a big day! This morning The Mister and I went to court (which is how it is done in Guernsey!) to complete on our house purchase. The court was hilarious, a complete cattle market with 5 jurats all sitting at the same times and each one dealing with an individual case of property law. It was brilliant and we were in and out in about 15 minutes.
So, we are now proud home-owners of a 1950's bungalow. We have been up there measuring the rooms and making sure that we have a better idea of how things are going to fit in. We have lots to do, including putting in central heating and a kitchen, work to the drains, opening up the fireplace etc. It is going to be tight time-wise to get everything done before the baby is born.
I will try and take some photos in daylight tomorrow, but in the meantime here is Auntie Josie helping us to remove the For Sale signs.
