The long bank holiday weekend ended in traditional British fashion. It rained. On and off all day. It has been mostly cold and a bit miserable.
I helped Mum with some shopping and then spent most of the afternoon lying on the sofa, dozing and watching the Queen's Carriage Parade (or whatever it was called).
Tonight we had a barbecue in the rain. We won't let the weather deter us. Oh no!!! We put the gazebo up and carried on regardless.
Sadly it is back to work tomorrow. I am seriously not ready to go back. It's not that I hate my job, I just prefer not working!!!
