Last night I went to see Waterson Carthy at Hitchin Folk Club. They were absolutely amazing! Norma Waterson has such a sublime voice. They were supported by The Askew Sisters who were very good but so young! Even I felt old!!The venue was lovely too and a really interesting mix of people, including quite a few young people. I am going to see Martyn Joseph at the same venue in a couple of weeks and I am soooo looking forward to it.
