Today I feel like I have spent most of my day in child protection meetings. They can, without a doubt, be long, tedious and full of circular discussions.
Every time I go to our social services building I am struck by how beautiful these tiles are. They are on the lower part of the wall in the hallway and for ages I have wanted to photograph them. Today, I decided to do just that, and received extremely strange looks from one of the social workers I know when she nearly tripped over me! I had to explain what I was doing, and to be honest she didn't seem too surprised!
I think they are gorgeous, and suspect that they are probably Victorian. I love the colours and how vibrant they are. At least I have something pretty to look at when I go to meetings!
