One of the charming things about Guernsey is that it still feels like a really safe place to live. Crime is relatively low, and things are much more relaxed.
This is a typical 'Hedge Veg' stall and there are loads of them all over the island, selling everything from jams and preserves, to fruit and veg, and our personal favourite, the stall the sells books. There is nothing nicer than collecting your dinner and a nice book to read off the wall on the way home from work!
