I never thought I would see a nun featuring as the main character in a murder-mystery novel but The Dying Light by Alison Joseph is a “Sister Agnes” book. I liked the main character and thought she was interesting due to the conflicts between her faith and the work she did with prisoners. A nice little read with a different take on the usual murder mystery genre.
I have discovered a new outlet for my reading cast-offs. Whilst I was at the hospital I walked past a stall selling second-hand books... well obviously when I say I walked past I did stop and buy 6 books. So, they can have the books that I get rid of in the future :)
