Well - it's on the "to do" list, so updating my blog must be OK to do rather than all the other things musn't it?!

I've not had much agency work this week ( There was a mix-up over the work that they thought I was going to do, the school wanted someone for afternoons but I only do mornings!) So the result is that I've had a lot more free time than usual, though I'm not sure exactly what I've done with it all. Next week I start my additional tutoring sessions.

One thing I have done is more gardening at church. There was a work-party on Monday where a lot of beds got weeded, so I have been capitalising on this by trying to cover the weeded beds with wood chipping mulch in the hope that it will prevent many more weeds from growing. There really is a lot of ground maintenance that needs doing. In addition to large beds and mature trees we have six lawns of varying sizes and a large car-park. Just keeping the car-park swept and tidy and picking up all the litter can be a morning's work! I really enjoyed it though. I kept thinking when I was outside on Wednesday morning how lovely it was to be gardening (even though I wasn't getting paid) rather than being stuck in an office or classroom! Yesterday was more of a grind though as I think my body was complaining about the number of wheelbarrows of bark chippings I kept expecting it to shift (probably over 20 in all over 2 mornings)! I must be getting fitter though musn't I? And my muscles must be doing something because they are certainly complaining enough! I've not lost any weight though (how sad). All that seems to happen is that I eat loads more!

Anyway if you don't mind swearing and full-frontal male nudity (it's a 15), do go and see this film:

I have to. I have my instructions. It has to be this weekend as well! I'm not sure what I'm going to make of it or whether it will really be my kind of thing, but I guess I'll go along. I'm not meaning to name-drop (much, anyway) but my sister is the Casting Director. I have been told to go this weekend to boost the numbers so that the film gets a good rating for its first weekend at the box-office! Anyone fancy accompanying me (virtually of course)?
