Hello again to everyone. I'm still here but have hada few hectic weeks including a lot of struggles with anxiety and a week without internet access! However the wait regarding the internet has now been rewarded by the fact that I have finally caught up with the 21st century and I am on broadband! I'm enjoying the speed and efficiency and not having to log off the internet every time I want to make a phone call. Thank you Ian for your message - I appreciated it and am indeed alright but not finding things particularly easy!
My grandpa's funeral did go well (if that's the right descriptor for funerals) but obviously it was a sad time! It was good to spend a bit of time with various family members. My mum and dad came back to spend a night with me en-route to home and we had a very silly time watching the eclipse of the moon and thinking of extremely non-scientific descriptions for its appearance. We discovered that by lying on the sofa or on my lounge floor we could watch through the window and so not get cold while watching! We also discovered that neither my dad or I (both physics graduates) can do physics after midnight! (Actually I'm not sure how much physics I can do before midnight these days either!)
I've had a weird time with work. I've had a month with very little tutoring because of tutees dropping out and various totally understandable but nevertheless frustratingly close-to-each-other cancellations. So financially things are a bit dire but now I have new tutees and should be able to make up a bit of lost ground financially over the Easter holiday. I'm stuggling though now with loads of preparation and organisation for new tutees - feast or famine I guess you takes your pick in this game!
Gardening at church though is cool -though even this is busier and more stressful than I'd like it to be!!
Right - now off to the bank to put in some earnings!
