...to Ian and Semele for your comments/prayers. I did have a good session with my counsellor today. Scary of course but also moving and I think helped me explore areas I'd not been before. I am so glad I have this counselling opportunity to work through things, as I do think it is helping quite a lot - very slowly, but it is helping.

In other news, I've enjoyed gardening in my new overalls again - it makes me feel like I'm a "professional" even though I may not have too much of a clue sometimes!

Then I've had a sucessful tutoring session. It is always good when the child enjoys the sessions, seems to making progress and the parents are pleased too.

OK - now I've got to have some tea. I've actually cooked properly today - a casserole (prepared last night) in the slow cooker. I'm just waiting for the rice to cook while I write this. Then I have to do some more tutoring prep before watching Old Tricks ( I do enjoy that programme - detectivy stuff with a feel good factor and nothing too creepy/gory).

Tomorrow is my busy day tutoring - 4 hours of actual tutoring plus a 58 mile round trip of the city! I have a break in the middle with my flask of tea and sandwiches in an ASDA carpark. I do enjoy it though. Driving to my tutoring session today I was thinking - actually, I only have (work-related) things I'm looking forward to for the rest of the week. It is a good way to make a living - even if it is not much of a living!
