1. Flip to page 18, paragraph 4 in the book closest to you right now, what does it say?
"Reading Tests are available in different formats: single word reading (word recognition); sentence reading; sentence completion (cloze); passage of continuous reading (reading analysis)."
Tackling Dyslexia Second Edition (Thank goodness it was a short paragraph)

2. If you stretch out your left arm - as far as possible, what are you touching?
My bedroom wall - painted very pale yellow

3. What's the last program you watched on tv?
Just saw most of something by Andrew Marr on BBC2 about the history of the 20th Century, but flipped over a few times to ITV1 to watch snatches of Tycoon.

4. Without looking, guess what time it is.
Probably about 10.45pm. (actually 22.38)

5. Except the computer, what can you hear right now?
Murmur of TV on in living room

6. When was the last time you were outside and what did you do?
I've was out tutoring until about 8.40pm

7. What are you wearing? - A work outfit
Underwear (which I will leave to the imagination), a pair of brown trousers with a faint darker stripe in them, brown socks, an orangy red camisole top under a red shirt with a red/orange/yellow florally, paisley type design (3/4 length sleeves, no collar)

8. Did you dream last night? If you did, what about?
Yes, but can't now remember the content.

9. When was the last time you laughed?
With my tutees today

10. What's on the walls, in the room you're in right now?
Very pale yellow paint (Dulux daffodil white), 5 pictures, 4 of which are originals and 3 of which are of different favourite parts of the UK countryside, a mirror, a shelf with clothes rail under it - oh - and a small moth!

11. Have you seen anything strange lately?
Well, not that I can think of offhand. If anything comes to me I'll blog about it next time.

12. What do you think about this meme?
I like it!

13. What's the last film you saw?
Erm, can't reemember the exact title but it had something about happyness (sic) in it.

14. If you became a multimillionaire, what would you do with the money?
Buy a house, as my one-bedroom flat is really too small for working from home, erm, invest enough of it ethically and sensibly so as to give me a reasonable income for life, erm, pray very hard and probably get really wound up about what to do with the rest.

15. Tell us something about yourself that most people don't know.
Ohh that's a tricky one. How about - I usually go to sleep listening to Radio 4/World Service, and sometimes have this in one ear and a taped detective story played on my walkman in the other!

16. If you could change ONE THING in this world, without regarding politics or bad guilt - what would it be?
Well, ideally, I'd change people's perception of things (including mine) so that they could see things more easily from God's point of view.

17. Do you like dancing?
Well I'm quite self conscious about it- When I was little, my ballet teacher used to come out of the lesson and say to my mum "fine brain Mrs Arti, fine brain, but absolutely no co-ordination!" So I guess I always feel rather awkward and ungainly, but on the rare occasions when I have been able to "let go" and dance without inhibition, I've enjoyed it.

18. George Bush?
When he was first elected, Radio 4 kept referring to the current (currant) bush administration. I liked that!

19. What do you want your children's names to be, girl/boy?
I guess I'm unlikely to have children now, but quite like the names Andrew and Matthew for boys and Claire, Megan, Susannah, and Charis for girls

20. Would you ever consider living abroad?
No, not if I could help it!

21. What do you want God to tell you, when you come to heaven?
Everything's OK now.

22. Who should do this meme?
Anyone who wants to reveal a few intersting snippets about themselves.
